General Terms and Conditions

EVENT ORGANISER

This event is run by Carmichael Entertainment Pty Ltd (ABN 80 603 564 772), trading as Monster Madness (the Promoter).

TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE BINDING

Tickets to the Event are sold or given and admission to the Event is granted on the express condition that you are bound by these Event Terms and Conditions and any other rules and regulations issued by the Promoter (Event T&Cs). By purchasing an Event ticket you agree to be bound by the Event T&Cs.

DIRECTIONS OF EVENT STAFF

You must follow the reasonable directions of Event staff, security, race officials, track marshals and safety personnel as required, and comply with the law at all times during the Event. This is a ticketed event with onsite security and a zero tolerance policy. Failure to comply may result in immediate removal from the Event Site without refund.

WEATHER, POSTPONEMENT AND CANCELLATION

The Event may be subject to weather conditions, track and ground conditions, and the safety of drivers, riders, performers and the public. The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to cancel, postpone or modify the Event - including the format, schedule, running order, individual competitions, freestyle motocross performances or any other performance - where it determines that weather conditions, ground conditions, mechanical or track safety issues, or the health and safety of drivers, riders, performers or the public necessitate such action. The safety of drivers, athletes, performers and patrons is the number one priority.

In the event of cancellation or postponement:

- Where the Event is cancelled entirely and cannot be rescheduled, ticket holders will be offered a refund less any booking fees paid to the ticketing agent and any credit card transaction fees.

- Where the Event is postponed, tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled date. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled event, please contact us within 14 days of the postponement announcement for a refund (excluding booking and transaction fees).

- Where the Event is postponed prior to event day, ticket holders will be notified by email or SMS, with updates also posted on our social media channels.

- Where the Event proceeds but individual competitions, freestyle motocross performances, vehicle appearances or other performances are modified, shortened or cancelled due to weather, mechanical failure, track conditions or safety concerns, no refund or compensation will be provided for those changes.

Monster trucks and competition vehicles are subject to mechanical failure and damage during competition. The advertised line-up of trucks, drivers and performers is subject to change without notice and no refund or compensation will be provided where a particular truck, driver or performer does not appear.

No refunds will be issued simply due to wet weather, dusty, muddy or hot conditions where the show proceeds. If weather is a concern, we recommend purchasing tickets closer to the event date - subject to availability, tickets remain on sale online until the main event starts and at the gate on the day at an increased price.

The Promoter's decision regarding whether conditions are suitable for the Event to proceed, be modified or be cancelled is final.

MONSTER TRUCK AND MOTORSPORT SAFETY

The Event features monster trucks, freestyle motocross and other motorsport and stunt performances. Motorsport is dangerous. These performances involve inherent risks including the movement of heavy vehicles and motorcycles in and around the Event Site, extreme noise, dust, mud, flying debris, thrown dirt and track material, fuel and exhaust odours, and the risk of vehicle rollover, component failure or loss of control.

- Patrons must remain behind all barriers, arena fencing, flag buntings and designated spectator barriers surrounding the arena, ramps, landing zones, staging and pit areas at all times.

- Entry to the arena, track, ramp, landing, pit, refuelling or machinery areas is strictly prohibited unless you hold official accreditation issued by the Promoter.

- Monster truck and freestyle motocross performances generate extreme noise levels. Hearing protection is strongly recommended for all patrons and is considered essential for infants, young children and anyone sensitive to noise. Hearing protection may be available for purchase onsite but availability is not guaranteed - we recommend bringing your own.

- Debris, dirt, mud, water and small track material may be thrown from vehicles into spectator areas. Patrons in front rows and arena-adjacent areas should expect this. Wear clothing and footwear you are comfortable getting dirty, and take care to protect eyes and personal belongings. Prescription glasses, sunglasses or eye protection are recommended for arena-adjacent seating.

- Do not distract drivers or riders during performances. Flash photography toward the arena, ramps or landing zones during performances is prohibited.

- The Event may include pyrotechnics, flame effects, fireworks or similar special effects. These may involve loud reports, bright flashes, heat and smoke.

- Drones and remote-controlled devices are strictly prohibited at all times.

SAFETY AND ARENA RULES

- Patrons must remain behind all flag buntings, arena fencing and designated spectator barriers at all times. These boundaries exist for your safety and the safety of drivers, riders and performers.

- Children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times, including and especially behind all flag buntings and arena-side barriers. Unaccompanied children found within restricted areas will be escorted back to the general spectator area by Event staff.

- Entry into the arena, track, pit area, ramp or landing areas, or into any restricted operational area is strictly prohibited unless you have been issued with official accreditation by the Promoter.

- Running, climbing on fences, barriers or grandstand structures, and any behaviour that could distract drivers or riders or create a hazard is strictly prohibited.

- In the event of an emergency or incident in the arena, patrons must remain in the designated spectator areas and follow the directions of Event staff and emergency personnel immediately. First aid services are onsite at every event.

- Event staff have full authority to move, relocate or remove any patron whose position or behaviour creates a safety risk.

SEATING AND TICKET TYPES

- General Admission: no allocated seating - first in, best dressed. BYO camping chair is recommended. GA patrons may use the general admission viewing areas or set up BYO chairs behind the reserved seating areas. Camping chairs must not be placed where they obstruct seating, walkways or other patrons' view, and are not permitted in reserved, grandstand or accessible areas.

- Reserved Tiered Plank Seating: allocated bench-style plank seating around the arena - the closest reserved seating to the action. Your seat is chosen at purchase, so there is no need to arrive early to secure it. For additional comfort we recommend bringing a cushion or rug. Patrons in these sections should expect dirt, dust and debris.

- Reserved Tiered Grandstand Seating: allocated individual seating on tiered grandstands, chosen at the time of purchase.

- Main Grandstand: where a venue has established grandstand seating, it may be allocated or unallocated (varies per event and will be stated at the time of purchase).

- Front rows of tiered sections are positioned lower to preserve sightlines for patrons behind. If you would prefer higher seating, or seating further from thrown debris, we recommend selecting seats further back at the time of purchase.

- Family Pass: where offered, admits the number and type of patrons stated at the time of purchase. Family passes are sold as a single unit and cannot be split or partially refunded.

- Children under 3 are free but must sit on the lap of a ticket holder and do not receive an allocated seat.

- A big screen is normally provided at each event so no one misses the action (location may vary).

PIT PARTY

Where offered, the Pit Party is a paid add-on giving access to the pit area before the main show. It is not included in standard admission and must be purchased separately, in addition to a valid Event ticket.

- Pit Party access is only available to patrons holding a valid Pit Party add-on for that Event, and a valid Event ticket for the same Event.

- Every person entering the Pit Party requires their own Pit Party add-on, including children. Where a family or group ticket is held, a Pit Party add-on is required for each person entering.

- Pit Party access times will be advertised at the time of purchase and on our social media channels. Access is only permitted during the advertised window. Times are indicative and may change - patrons are responsible for arriving in time.

- A wristband or lanyard will be issued on entry and must be worn and visible at all times within the pit area. Lost, damaged or removed wristbands will not be replaced.

- Enclosed footwear is mandatory in the pit area. Patrons in thongs, sandals, open shoes or bare feet will be refused entry, and no refund will be provided.

- Children in the pit area must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times and must remain with that adult. Children may not climb on, sit in or enter any vehicle unless expressly directed by an authorised driver or crew member.

- The pit area is an active working area containing heavy vehicles, machinery, fuel, tools and moving equipment. Patrons must follow the directions of drivers, crew and Event staff at all times and must not touch, climb on or interfere with any vehicle, equipment or tool without express permission.

- Photographs and autographs are subject to driver and crew availability. Individual drivers, trucks or performers may be unavailable due to mechanical work, injury or scheduling. No refund or compensation will be provided where a particular driver, truck or performer is not present or available.

- The Promoter reserves the right to shorten, delay, relocate or cancel the Pit Party at its discretion for safety, weather or operational reasons. Where the Pit Party is shortened, delayed or relocated but still proceeds, no refund will be provided. Where the Pit Party is cancelled entirely and the Event still proceeds, the Pit Party add-on fee will be refunded less booking and transaction fees.

- Pit Party add-ons are not sold separately from Event admission and have no value without a valid Event ticket.

- Patrons who fail to follow directions, enter restricted areas or behave in an unsafe manner will be removed from the pit area, and may be removed from the Event Site, without refund.

EVENT TICKETS

Entry to the Event Site will be granted on presentation of a valid bar-coded ticket issued by an Authorised Ticketing Agency, including:

- A valid barcoded ticket; or

- A valid barcoded print-at-home PDF ticket; or

- A valid barcoded electronic ticket on a mobile device.

- An Authorised Ticketing Agency means Flicket (flicket.io). Tickets purchased from any other source, including resale platforms, social media, online marketplaces or third parties, are not valid and will not be honoured.

- Lost, destroyed or stolen tickets will not be replaced unless proof of purchase is provided.

- Tickets at the Gate: if the Event has not sold out, tickets may be purchased at the gate on the day at an increased price. Online tickets remain on sale until the main event starts.

- Ticket Restrictions: you agree not to re-sell Event tickets contrary to applicable laws. Event tickets may not, without the prior written consent of the Promoter, be re-sold or offered for resale at a premium (including via online auction sites or social media), used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes, or used to enhance the demand for other goods or services. If an Event ticket is used in breach of this condition, the ticket may be cancelled without refund and the bearer may be refused admission.

- Ticket Purchase Limits: the Promoter reserves the right to enforce published ticket purchase limits and cancel any tickets obtained above those limits. This includes orders associated with the same name, email address, billing address, credit card number or other information.

- Incorrect Ticket Type: patrons found in a seating area other than the one their ticket entitles them to will be relocated to their correct area. Patrons who repeatedly occupy seating they have not paid for may be removed from the Event Site without refund.

ENTRY AND SEARCH ON ENTRY

It is a condition of entry to the Event Site that a search of you and/or your possessions may be required. Bags are checked on entry. If you do not consent to such searches, you may be denied entry without refund. Prohibited items will be confiscated and will not be returned or reimbursed. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry to any person. Please allow extra time for entry.

- Your Behaviour: you must ensure that you and any persons in your care act in an orderly and responsible manner at all times. The Promoter may refuse entry or evict any person behaving in a disorderly, offensive, threatening or inappropriate manner without refund. This is a ticketed event with onsite security and a zero tolerance policy.

- Alcohol: where a licensed bar operates at the Event it is for patrons 18 and over. ID will be checked and police may be present (varies per event). No outside alcohol (BYO) is permitted at the Event Site - any alcohol brought onto the Event Site will be confiscated and will not be returned. If you are found supplying or purchasing alcohol for a minor you will be evicted and may be referred to police.

- Food and Drink: a variety of food vendors operate at each event (vendors vary by location). No outside food or drinks are permitted into the Event, other than bottled water, special dietary requirements and baby food. Bags are checked on entry.

- Drugs: if you are found supplying, consuming or in possession of illicit drugs you will be removed from the Event Site and may be referred to police.

Personal digital cameras are permitted at the Event. Professional photography equipment (for example telephoto lenses, any lens over 20cm, or detachable lenses) is not permitted without Promoter-issued media accreditation. Photos are permitted for private and personal use only and may not be used for commercial purposes or public display.

Video recording or filming of competition or performance segments is strictly prohibited without prior written authorisation from the Promoter.

You consent to be included in official photography, film and sound recordings of the Event and for these recordings to be used by the Promoter and its authorised representatives in any medium without further authorisation or compensation to you.

Most events are wheelchair and pram access friendly. A designated accessible viewing area is provided at most venues, with companion seating available. Accessible parking varies per event and accessible toilets are available (parents' room subject to venue facilities).

Patrons should be aware that this Event involves extreme noise levels, vibration, pyrotechnics and flashing lights, which may affect patrons with sensory sensitivities, hearing conditions or photosensitive conditions.
